Welcome to The Aviators' Post!
This weblog belongs to a fellow whose aviation career began in 1972 as a student pilot at Omni Beechcraft in Beverly, Massachusetts. Now, 35-plus years later and with a lot of experiences logged, I'd like to share my thoughts with others. My comments will focus on aviation, specifically business (or corporate) aviation because that's what I know best. That said, anything "aviation" is fair game, really! I spent the first two-thirds of my career in helicopters, first as an Army Warrant Officer and Aviator and then in the helicopter air-taxi segment. Now for nearly ten years I've been flying business jets- an absence of helicopters in my part of the U.S. forced me to reinvent myself primarily as an airplane type, I like to say. It's a privilege to be qualified in both categories. All in all it's been a fascinating journey and I might have something significant to offer through this blog. I hope you'll enjoy it and return often and one more thing- you don't have to be a pilot to make a post, just share an interest in aviation. Welcome aboard!
